iOS Accessibility Shortcuts
1. VoiceOver Toggle
What It Does
VoiceOver reads aloud everything on your screen—helpful for users with low vision or blindness.
How To Create the Shortcut
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Accessibility.
- Scroll to Accessibility Shortcut.
- Select VoiceOver to checkmark it.
How To Use It
- Triple-click the Side or Home button to toggle VoiceOver on or off.
2. Magnifier Access
What It Does
Magnifier uses your camera to zoom in on objects or text, making them easier to see.
How To Create the Shortcut
- Open Settings > Accessibility.
- Tap Accessibility Shortcut.
- Select Magnifier to checkmark it.

- Triple-click the Side or Home button to activate the Magnifier interface.
3. Switch Control Activation
What It Does

- Select Reduce Motion to checkmark it.

- Triple-click the Side/Home button to enable or disable Reduce Motion.
7. Invert Colors
What It Does
Inverts on-screen colors, potentially improving contrast for visually impaired users or reducing eye strain.

- Open Settings > Accessibility.

- Select Classic Invert or Smart Invert (or both).
How To Use It

8. Color Filters
What It Does

9. Larger Text Toggle

10. Hearing Devices Control
What It Does
Allows quick connection or adjustment of compatible hearing aids or cochlear implants.
How To Create the Shortcut
- Open Settings > Accessibility.
- Scroll and tap Accessibility Shortcut.
- Select Hearing Devices to checkmark it.
How To Use It
- Triple-click the Side/Home button to see a menu and configure your hearing devices.
11. LED Flash for Alerts
What It Does
Blinks the camera flash for incoming calls, messages, or other notifications.
Note: LED Flash for Alerts is normally set at Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > LED Flash for Alerts, not via Shortcut.
How To Enable Multiple Features
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut.
- Select all the features you want, e.g., VoiceOver and Zoom.
- Triple-click the Side/Home button, and you’ll see a menu to choose which feature to enable.
Alternative: Back Tap (iOS 14+)
- Open Settings > Accessibility.
- Tap Touch.
- Scroll down and select Back Tap.
- Choose Double Tap or Triple Tap.
- Pick an Accessibility Shortcut (e.g., VoiceOver, Zoom) or another quick action.
- Now tap the back of your phone to toggle that feature.
